Account Executive 📍 Preferred In-Office | Remote Considered | 💰 $75,000 base + $75,000 commission (OTE $150,000)
A growing accounting software company is hiring an Account Executive to own the sales process from first touch to closed deal. You'll be the engine of new business — engaging prospects, running compelling demos, and bringing deals home. Deep accounting knowledge? Not required. Sales drive and instincts? Non-negotiable.
What You'll Do
- Own the full sales cycle — outreach, discovery, demos, follow-up, and close
- Run initial product demos that clearly communicate value to prospective clients
- Manage your pipeline with discipline and keep CRM updated and accurate
- Partner closely with the Sales Engineer on complex deals requiring deeper technical walkthroughs
- Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Bring market feedback to the team to sharpen messaging and positioning
What We're Looking For
Must Have:
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience with a track record of hitting quota
- Strong communicator — you can read a room, handle objections, and keep deals moving
- Comfortable running product demos and adapting your pitch on the fly
- Highly organized and self-motivated — you don't need someone telling you to follow up
- Collaborative — you'll work hand-in-glove with a Sales Engineer and that partnership matters
Nice to Have:
- Experience selling SaaS, fintech, or software to SMBs
- Familiarity with accounting workflows or e-commerce businesses
- Experience with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRMs
