Audit Services Manager

Lakewood, NJ (On-site with Hybrid Flexibility)

$100,000 – $140,000

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee audit, review, and compilation engagements for privately held companies.
  • Lead and mentor staff and senior accountants, fostering technical expertise and professional development.
  • Perform and review agreed-upon procedures and lead special projects, such as due diligence and acquisitions.
  • Evaluate internal controls, identifying risks and recommending improvements to accounting processes.
  • Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and high-quality service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Travel to client sites as needed for fieldwork and client engagement.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification (required).
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of public accounting audit experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and assurance standards.
  • Long-term care/skilled nursing audit experience is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) and audit software.
  • New Jersey residency required.
