Senior Brand Manager – What They Do

  • Define the brand
  • Own positioning, messaging, and voice (clear, compliant, differentiated) 
  • Direct all creative
  • Set the strategy for what gets said and shown across all channels 
  • Align all teams
  • Ensure agencies, marketing, and internal teams execute one consistent message 
  • Turn insights into action
  • Use reviews, data, and performance to improve messaging, creative, and product positioning 
  • Guide product & packaging
  • Ensure products and packaging are clear, compelling, and on-brand 
  • Drive performance (through direction)Improve conversion, clarity, and overall brand effectiveness—not by running ads, but by guiding what wins


Core Background (Must-Have)

  • 5–8+ years in CPG or consumer health 
  • Experience in OTC, supplements, or regulated products strongly preferred 
  • Background in high-growth or scaling brands (not just legacy big CPG) 


Channel Experience (Critical)

  • Hands-on exposure to:
  • Amazon / eCommerce (conversion, PDPs, reviews) 
  • DTC brands (performance-driven environments) 
  • Understanding of how brands win in digital-first ecosystems
